• When the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs closed their campus childcare center, community leaders built Stepping Stones Early Learning Center to fill the gap. Despite fundraising efforts, $600K in debt remained, threatening the center's financial stability.

  • We created a signature campaign video and targeted donor videos for their 'Step into our Future' campaign. The strategy: use videos as the emotional finale to major donor presentations, putting real children and their impact front and center.

  • The campaign raised the full $600,000. As a committee member explained: "Their biggest impact is that they were the feels for our big wig presentation wrap ups. We gave our presentation and then concluded with the fun kids video and then the longer donate video to put the kids right in front of them before we were done."

    • $600,000+ raised - 100% of campaign goal achieved

    • Major donor success - Videos closed presentations with emotional impact that moved donors to give

    • Sustainable future secured - Organization can now focus resources on programs and staff rather than paying off debt

The videos transformed abstract financial need into tangible impact, showing potential donors exactly what their investment would accomplish. By putting real children and their stories front and center, SSELC could demonstrate the immediate community benefit of eliminating the debt burden.

“Kelsey captured our mission & vibe perfectly”

When 1619 Freedom School was struggling to show their impact to funders, we created a video that not only helped secure funding but became their go-to presentation tool to play at every event to show what they're all about.

“She brought our mission to life”

Try Pie was truly transforming lives, but donors didn't understand how the program was more than just a job for teenage girls. We created a video featuring participants sharing their real experiences, from learning financial literacy and contributing to Roth IRAs in high school to developing leadership skills through meaningful work.

“She gets that stories matter”

Embracing Exploration was taking Iowa students to HBCUs for the first time, but they needed a way to show the community why this mattered beyond just college tours. We captured the entire experience and created a video featuring founder Madelyn Ridgeway, an HBCU alum herself, explaining how seeing environments where students are celebrated for who they are opens up possibilities they never even imagined. After the video launched, donations increased and funding was secured for future trips.
